Experienced Mechanical Utilities

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professionalservices consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth. As aresult, we have a full-time position available for an ExperiencedMechanical/Utilities Engineer within our Food & Beverage group.Responsibilities include: Conducting job-site surveys of food andbeverage plants and utility systems Developing project documentationincluding drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID's),equipment schedules, details, specifications, scope of work, etc.Selecting and applying system equipment to new and existing systemsCoordinating technical specifications, delivery requirements, andquotation parameters with outside equipment suppliers, subcontractors,and clients. Travel will be required. The successful candidate willhave: A bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering from acollege or university At least 4 years of relevant experience. The idealcandidate will have any/all of the following: On-site experience inintegrating equipment into existing systems Experience with equipmentselection Experience developing piping and instrumentation diagrams(P&IDs) for food and/or industrial projects EIT certification, PElicense strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office softwareExperience with AutoDesk software (Revit, Navisworks, Plant 3D, etc)Experience with hydraulic analysis software (Pipe-Flo, AFT Fathom, etc.)Experience with pipe stress analysis software (AutoPIPE, Caesar, etc.)Familiarity with managing project invoices Experience mentoring lessexperienced staff.
