Adjusts ram stroke tospecified length. Positions work piece against fixtures or stops onmachine bed or on die. Starts press and observes operation to detectmisalignment or malfunction. Regulates air pressure and oil spects work pieces for conformance to specifications and adjustsmachine to correct errors. Packages parts in appropriate containers.Cleans and Lubricates machines Other duties as assigned QualificationsWhat it takes to be a Punch Press Operator with MEC: High school diplomaor general education degree (GED), or one to three months relatedexperience and/or training is preferred.
