Refrigeration Engineer

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professionalservices consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth. As aresult, we have a full-time position available for a refrigerationengineer. Responsibilities include conducting job-site surveys;calculating refrigeration requirements for process cooling and buildingloads; assisting in the development of project documentation including:drawings, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's), equipmentschedules, details, specifications, scope of work, etc.; selecting andapplying system equipment to new and existing systems; and coordinatingtechnical specifications, delivery requirements, and quotationparameters with outside equipment suppliers, subcontractors and clients.Some travel will be required. The successful candidate must have all ofthe following: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical engineeringfrom an accredited four-year college or university At least five yearsof relevant mechanical experience PE license in any state with theability to obtain in other states The ideal candidate will haveexperience with any/all of the following: project management; ammoniarefrigeration design; chilled water/hydronic design; equipmentselection; developing piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs);Microsoft Office software; mentoring less experienced staff.
