Position Summary: The OSM Field Superintendent is responsible for overseeing offsite manufacturing (OSM) construction activities at the project site. Reporting to the Project Superintendent and OSM Lead(s), this role works closely with other superintendents, subcontractors, and craft workers. The position manages OSM scopes involving 3D structural modules integrated with mechanical, plumbing, process and electrical (MP&E) systems, from project initiation through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance. Essential Responsibilities: + Coordinate daily activities with other superintendents, mechanical subcontractors, and other discipline subcontractors. + Supervise multiple subcontractors and craft employees. + Maintain and adjust project schedule on a daily basis. + Manage RFIu2019s and submittals for client/architect review. (shared responsibility with OSM Project Engineer/Construction Manager). + Implement and oversee the QA/QC program for OSM scopes. + Enforce and promote all safety protocols. + Resolve design and constructability issues in the field. + Respond to client requests and develop solutions using technical expertise. + Interpret and ensure compliance with all permitting, code requirements, and site specifications. + Provide field condition data and scope details for cost estimating support. + Oversee contractor performance in alignment with contractual requirements. + Assist in managing field crew staffing levels, headcount, and competency with OSM trade partners. + Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors. Salary Range:$145,000.00 - $160,00.00 Annually Depending on Experience Qualifications: Professional Experience and Education + Minimum five (5) years of hands-on mechanical/multidiscipline construction experience required. + Experience on large industrial or high-tech fabrication projects preferred. + Experience with high-purity chemical and gas systems strongly preferred. + OSHA 30 certification required (may be obtained after hire). + High school diploma or GED required; bacheloru2019s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred. + Knowledge of materials and methods of mechanical construction. Position Related Skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) and familiarity with network-based systems. + Experience with project management tools (Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6). + Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD (optional), Revit (optional), and Navisworks (preferred). + Ability to read and interpret design and construction documents, specifications, and survey data. Includes both 3D and 2D design deliverables. + Understanding of CSI specification system for construction. + Strong knowledge of mechanical installations for large equipment and cleanroom environments. + Highly developed observation and interpretation skills. + Ability to remain calm and collaborative under pressure. + Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize amid frequent interruptions from daily operations. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Proven ability to work effectively with a variety of trades and craft personnel. + Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across departments and leadership levels. + Flexible schedule to support extended hours or off-shift work as project needs require. Physical and Mental Requirements: + Ability to work in both stationary and active roles throughout the workday. (desk + field) + Ability to climb ladders, scaffolds, and stairs; work in confined spaces. + Frequent use of hands, arms, and legs to operate tools and equipment. (office + field) + Vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment; must be able to operate a vehicle with a valid driveru2019s license. + Tolerance for high-noise environments (hearing protection provided). + Communicate with customers and coworkers in an office setting and on the job site. + Speech: Ability to communicate laws, ordinances, plans, regulations, protocols, directives, and standard operating procedures related to project scope in English. + Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs to a height of 3 feet and transport it 50u2013100 feet. + Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, or crawling to inspect work. + Must exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills to determine the most effective course of action.
