UMMG Staff Physician will provide high quality medical care to patients with endocrine diseases . The incumbent conducts examinations, assesses and evaluates symptoms, determines conditions, and prescribes medical treatment or services . Essential Job Functions: + Provide outpatient care to patients primarily at UHealth - Main campus and satellite practices. + Provide inpatient care to patient s at UHealth - Tower a nd Jackson Memorial Hospital. + Engage in training of Endocrinology fellows, residents, and medical students. + Oversees mid-level medical staff as assigned as well as nursing clinical staff. Qualifications: + MD Degree and ACGME US internal medicine internship and residency + Valid American Board Certification in Endocrinology (or board eligible) + Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: + Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques. + Must maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirements + Must have excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care + Current BLS certification required .
