This is a 12-month appointment.The successful candidate will provide leadership for the Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS) program, ensuring effective integration with the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program. This individual will serve as a leader in curricular innovation, program evaluation, and student success initiatives within the BSPS program while developing and maintaining a scholarly presence in pharmacy education and related social and administrative sciences.Teaching responsibilities will focus on courses in the BSPS curriculum that introduce undergraduate students to pharmacy practice and social/administrative sciences research in pharmacy. The faculty member will also contribute significantly to the Collegeu2019s teaching, research, service, and administrative missions, with an emphasis on advancing undergraduate and professional pharmacy education. The successful candidate will have an area of specialization in educational leadership, curricular integration, and undergraduate education in pharmacy.Responsibilities include: u2022 Administration (40%) - Lead the BSPS program, including curricular oversight, program evaluation, budgeting, faculty/staff supervision, recruitment, and retention. Represent the College in BSPS-related initiatives and align program goals with the Collegeu2019s strategic priorities. u2022 Instruction (35%) - Teach in the BSPS, PharmD, or graduate programs as appropriate; contribute to curricular design, assessment, and educational innovation; mentor and advise students across undergraduate, professional, and graduate programs. u2022 Scholarship (10%) - Develop and maintain a scholarly program in pharmacy education and related social and administrative sciences, disseminating findings through peer-reviewed publications and presentations.
