Job Description

The HR Generalist will support Global Architectural Functional teams including Marketing, Finance and Operations. Additionally, this role will support the Paint Stores Group Enterprise Solutions team including National Accounts and Floorcovering. relative to HR Administration, Employee Relations, Recruitment and Onboarding, Employee Engagement and Performance and Talent Management.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKSEnsure data integrity of all Human Resource systems, including but not limited to the HR Cloud System, Absence1 and UKG.Track, manage, and escalate leave of absence and accommodation cases.Support and manage employee relations cases, including investigations.Manage and complete Affirmative Action Plans, including quarterly reporting.Promote and maintain positive employee relations in a safe and productive work environment.Administer policies and procedures and make recommendations for change as municate accurately and appropriately with other employees and vendors in a timely manner.Ensure compliance with all national, regional, and local laws and regulationsManage Gov Doc processes for PSG teams.Maintain Affirmative Action Plans (AAPs) for designated teams.Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate selections, interviews, and offer recommendations.Assist in leading onboarding and offboarding activities.Review and approve job descriptions.Provide support to management throughout employee engagement processes (i.e., engagement survey, focus groups)Conduct and mange offboarding for employees, including exit interviews.Identify growth opportunities to ensure that employee capabilities meet current and future standards.Coach and manage employee level performance improvement plete and assist with human resources projects, as assigned.POSITION REQUIREMENTSFORMAL EDUCATION:Required:Must have a bachelor's degree or higher or at least four (4) years of work experience in human resourcesPreferred:Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Organizational/Industrial Psychology, or Business ManagementKNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:Required:1+ year of experience in Human ResourcesMust be willing to travel as required for this positionMust be knowledgeable in computer systems (Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and Power Point)Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentStrong communication & problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail required.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorshipPreferred:Have a Professional in Human Resources (
