DescriptionAmazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity. The Amazon Leo team is looking for a talented and passionate individual to lead our global integrated marketing, including brand strategy, brand marketing, media planning/buying, social media marketing, and sponsorships (department head). Youu2019ll be a key leader defining the Amazon Leo brand and establishing it as a trusted and loved brand around the world for consumers, businesses and government organizations. Your team is responsible for brand strategy; the universal Amazon Leo; campaign and brand activation ideation, creation, execution, and localization; media strategy, planning, buying, and optimization; organic social media strategy including influencer marketing, boosted content, and community building/engagement; sponsorship strategy, negotiation, and activation; and more. Key job responsibilities u2022 Establish, enforce, and evolve brand strategy, standards, and expressions globally in alignment with Amazon Leo brand tenets. u2022 Establish and direct concepts for campaigns including building on our core global creative and bringing life to it. u2022 Innovate in the way we use creative assets, channels, partners, emergent technology, and more to breakthrough to our target customers. u2022 Oversee our global social media team and agency, building a meaningful social community, driving deeper prospect and customer engagement, and leading our use of influencers to establish awareness and brand salience. u2022 Partner closely with our in-house creative team and creative AOR to deliver breakthrough, enduring creative while maintaining agility in the face of changing customer needs. u2022 Collaborate closely with B2C, B2B, B2G commercial and marketing leaders to ensure creative assets resonate with our customers and prospects. u2022 Leverage data-driven customer insights and deep knowledge of your craft to make decisions. Evaluate efficacy based on objective metrics and customer insights to continually improve. u2022 Translate internal strategy into clear direction for creative teams, agencies, partners. u2022 Be on the pulse of current and emerging trends in adtech/martech, marketing, and social. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $232,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
