The Production Technician shall ensure that all elements of Food Safety within their line are being met.- The Production Technician will be trained in HACCP and will know the designated CCP's for their line.- The Production Technician will be trained in GMP principles and will be responsible for maintaining that their line follows Good Manufacturing Practices of Roskam Baking Company.- The Production Technician is responsible for tasks designated by the Line Forman including, but not limited to dumping, packing, stacking, wrapping, labeling, inspecting, and cleaning.- The Production Technician must complete paperwork as assigned, accurately and legibly.- The Production Technician, with assistance from the Sanitation, must be able to clean, inspect and know what is involved for each type of designated clean up.- The Production Technician will share any discrepancies with the QMS to their Foreman or Quality Technician.u00a0 The discrepancies are but not limited to HACCP programs, Allergen Programs, Sanitation Procedures, GMP findings, Foreign Material Findings and HOLD procedures.- This position is fast paced and requires basic math and reasoning skills.u00a0 The GL must be able to follow instructions and communicate concerns to the Machine Operator or Forman.u00a0 The Production Technician must be flexible in the hours and days that they work and be available as needed for inter-company work or weekend work as deemed necessary by the Company.
