Summary The Dentist (Endodontist) serves as a practicing dentist who performs a full range of professional dental procedures in within the scope of endodontics specialty for the Albuquerque VA, Raymond G. Murphy Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center,, New Mexico Health Care System within VISN 22 Desert Pacific Healthcare Network. VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package. Duties include but are not limited to: Make oral and radiographic examinations of the oral cavity Diagnose pathological or irregular oral conditions. Administer local anesthesia. Perform routine and complex endodontic procedures. Perform simple and complex endodontic surgical procedures. Perform root-end fillings. Perform temporary restorations of teeth. Place posts and core on teeth, as indicated. Other associated dental procedures consistent with the scope performed by Endodontist in the community. Be able to review CT scan pertinent to endodontic assessment as indicated. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 0700 - 1530 Telework: Not available Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
