Description: You will be the Production Development Lead for the Production Development team. Our team is responsible for production planning, demand planning, master data management, and delivering clear operational metrics that drive mission critical success. What You Will Be Doing As the Production Development Lead you will be responsible for guiding emerging technology production efforts from development through full scale manufacturing. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: + Participate in development and execution of integrated master schedules that align engineering, finance, manufacturing, and global supply chain commitments. + Define best practices on how to manage MRP for different phases of development. + Create and monitor key performance indicators and report actionable insights to senior leadership. + Coordinate cross functional teams to resolve schedule bottlenecks, material constraints, and change management impacts. + Travel to supplier sites and other LockheedMartin operations (u224810% of the time) to ensure alignment across the enterprise. + Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance data integrity, forecasting accuracy, and overall production efficiency. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or Industrial Engineering, or related field. u2022 Ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance; and Interim Secret Clearance is required to start. u2022 Previous ERP experience working in a manufacturing environment u2022 Daily interfacing with other functions, such as procurement, engineering and finance. u2022 Demonstrated leadership experience in past roles, projects or assignments u2022 Strategic thinker with proven lean manufacturing experience and/or training u2022 Recent transactional experience and knowledge of SAP ERP Desired Skills: Lean 6S Black Belt u2022 Masteru2019s Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline u2022 Knowledge and previous experience in product development and transition to production. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
