IT Data Analyst (MS Excel/Data Visualization)

Description We are looking for an experienced IT Data Analyst that eats, sleep, breath's data and understands the lineage of data and the impact organized data can provide. Someone great with raw data in Excel form that can analyze, integrate, and create reports after data orgnization efforts are complete. This position will be a hybrid opportunity with 2 days in office per week near Tampa's Westshore District. This position focuses on leveraging data to drive insights, improve program effectiveness, and support organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, visualization tools, and advanced Excel functionalities. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop and implement protocols to ensure consistent and accurate data collection across multiple locations. u2022 Maintain and manage databases while ensuring data security and integrity. u2022 Train staff on data collection techniques and the use of data management systems. u2022 Analyze data to identify trends, measure outcomes, and assess overall performance. u2022 Prepare detailed reports and presentations tailored for executives, board members, and other stakeholders. u2022 Consolidate data from multiple sources into a centralized data warehouse for reporting purposes. u2022 Review data outputs and performance indicators to identify and address any discrepancies or errors. u2022 Conduct audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of collected data. u2022 Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in data management practices. u2022 Provide guidance to staff at various locations to ensure consistent data input and adherence to protocols. Requirements u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and VBA scripting. u2022 Strong skills in data visualization and familiarity with tools such as BusinessObjects Technologies. u2022 Experience in managing and analyzing large datasets using SQL. u2022 Knowledge of business intelligence (BI) concepts and tools. u2022 Ability to design and manage data warehouses for consolidated reporting. u2022 Proven history of conducting audits and ensuring compliance with data management standards. u2022 Excellent communication skills for training and collaborating with staff and stakeholders. u2022 Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
