Position Summary: Under direct supervision, provides personal and homemaking services to ill, convalescing, elderly, and disabled persons in the patients' home. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 1. Provides personal care of a patient, including bathing, grooming/hygiene, and toileting. 2. Takes and records daily vital signs. Reports all vital signs that are outside the normal range. 3. Assists patients with positioning/turning, transfers, catheter care, and range of motion exercises. 4. Light housekeeping and food preparation. 5. Recognizes and reports any unusual, untoward, or new symptoms/changes to the RN. 6. May perform functions to support the telehealth program (uninstalls, equipment cleaning and maintenance, installations/setups). 7. Performs other related duties as required and directed. #LI-MF1 _Required:_ High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a written home health/hospice competency test and the clinical skills testing. Certification as Home Health Aide (CHHA). _Preferred:_ Six months of experience with a variety of patients. _Position/Subsidiary Specific:_ Valid driveru2019s license, proof of valid auto insurance, and maintain a driving record in accordance with McLarenu2019s corporate driving policy and eligibility guidelines.
