In addition to corporate financial contributions, our employees extend the policy of community involvement by donating their time and talents.The Branch Manager is responsible for branch operations, staff management, and acting as loan officer. Promote the sales and service culture through coaching, training, and staff motivation. Achieve individual and branch goals by using business development, referral, and account retention skills. Carry out branch expectations and business plan objectives with excellent customer service and business ethics.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage staff through effective leadership, coaching, training, communication, staffing, performance reviews and coordinating branch meetings and activities.Branch operations including sales, customer service, security, compliance and procedures.Ensure accuracy and satisfaction for customer accounts and customer service inquires.Branch safety, security and compliance including vault operations, cash management, safe deposit boxes, opening and closing procedures, Bank Secrecy/Anti Money Laundering program, test branch security tools, and assure dual control is maintained on negotiable instrument stock.Advise individuals of Association lending programs, quote loan interest rate and fees.Provide appropriate application forms and disclosures. Assist customers with completion.Request confidential financial and ECOA information from loan applicants, complying with state and federal lending regulations and Association loan policies.Analyze, evaluate, and prepare file for loan processing. Present or submit application and documentation to Loan Committee for loan decision and make recommendations.Prepare initial loan modifications for servicing. Input data for HMDA/LARS report maintenance.Conduct and prepare recurring branch audits and reports.Assess customer needs and make recommendations for product and services based on findings.Participate in Association and community activities to facilitate growth of the deposit and loan base, which may be outside normal branch hours.Perform duties of branch staff as required.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products and services, profit drivers, and business goals.Excellent public and customer relations skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, determine their needs, and maintain their confidence.Thorough understanding of banking regulations and Association policies and procedures with demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policies and regulations quickly and anization and flexibility to prioritize workload in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.Utilize analytical techniques and exercise independent judgment to identify strategies to solve problems and complex customer needs.Exercise customer confidentiality and discretionary judgment.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to clearly communicate and explain complex banking, lending and legal regulations and documents.Proficiency in basic computer programs with ability to learn new software.Read, write, speak and understand English well.QUAL
