Role: Test Architect -Networking device testing (CEP/RG) Location: Plano, TX - Onsite Hire Type: Full Time About the job youu2019re considering We are seeking a highly skilled Test Architect to lead the testing strategy and execution for Residential Gateway (RG) at Plano. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in networking devices, protocols (both wireline and wireless), and end-to-end test automation frameworks, and will serve as a technical leader across cross-functional teams. Your role u00b7 Define and drive the test strategy and architecture for RG platforms (Fiber and Mobility Gateways). u00b7 Design end-to-end test plans covering functional, regression, performance, and interoperability testing. u00b7 Lead test automation framework design, including CI/CD integration for firmware and software releases. u00b7 Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Field teams to identify test requirements and edge cases. u00b7 Mentor and guide test engineers, ensuring best practices in test design and execution. u00b7 Analyze defects and provide root cause insights to the Engineering team. u00b7 Evaluate and recommend tools, simulators, and test infrastructure to enhance testing efficiency. u00b7 Drive the adoption of new testing methodologies, such as AI-assisted test generation. u00b7 Comfortable working across time zones and coordinating with offshore teams. Your skills and experience u00b7 Bacheloru2019s or masteru2019s degree in computer science or equivalent. u00b7 15 years of experience in software/hardware testing, with 5 years in networking device testing ( CEP/RG preferred ) u00b7 Strong understanding of network protocols: xPON (GPON and XGSPON), DHCP, IPv4/IPv6, NAT, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, Cellular (LTE/5G). u00b7 Experience in Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi6e or Wi-Fi7 and Spirent Test Centre or IXIA u00b7 Good Understanding of USP/TR-369/CWMP/TR-69/TR-181/TR-98 u00b7 Expertise in test automation frameworks (Python, Robot Framework, Selenium, Jenkins, etc.) u00b7 Experience with CI/CD pipelines for firmware/software deployment and validation. u00b7 Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies. u00b7 Cellular (LTE/5G) Life at Capgemini Capgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
