Requisition ID: 177766 Job Level: Senior Level Home District/Group: TIC Denver Department: Field Operations Market: Industrial Employment Type: Full Time Position Overview Kiewit Industrial Group is looking for a MEP Project Manager that can lead various projects more than $500 million for vertical buildings in the Advanced Technology Facilities (ATF) markets of semiconductor, data center, and battery manufacturing facilities. Duties will include but are not limited to leading a team of estimators, participating in, and implementing win strategies, preparing conceptual estimates using historical and current market data and metrics, presenting estimates to executive management and clients, reading and interpreting documents, solicitating subcontractors, analyzing drawings and specifications, providing lowest cost design options for the lowest cost installation of construction, value management, reviewing and assisting with proposals, and other duties as required to prepare cost estimates/proposals for various types of work, including self-perform. TIC Denver has projects in Power, Industrial Manufacturing, Oil Gas Chemical, and Mining across the United States. Its projects range from small capital work up to major EPC projects. We are looking for people committed to the construction industry in an u201copen-shopu201d environment. Location This is a full time position, supporting projects across North America. In this role, you will be required to travel to project locations, for the duration of the project, as well as to Kiewit offices as required. Project location and durations may vary around the United States and Canada and we provide relocation to longer term projects and per diem options for shorter duration projects. Responsibilities u2022 Provide guidance to estimators and engineers in the development phase of a collaborative contract model. Own the project schedule/scope and budget for the project as it advances into construction. u2022 Participate in task force meetings with the designers and engineers and bring constructability to the project solution. u2022 Develop the logic behind the project schedule (sequencing works/work breakdown structure) u2022 Communicate and present details to executive management, permitting agencies, stakeholders, owners; keeping stakeholders informed of the status of the project through regular meetings/reporting u2022 Analyze drawings and specifications to evaluate risks and opportunities and engage with engineers to ensure design process is on schedule. Interface project controls/finance to ensure project is staying on time, within budget and risk is minimized. u2022 Review and assist with proposals with the BD team, and work with the estimating team for various components of the work to evaluate the best value for money/options. u2022 Support the selection of key subcontractors and trade partners for the project. u2022 Demonstrate excellent collaborative behaviors in a multi-stakeholder environment and foster a culture of innovation. Qualifications u2022 Undergraduate or graduate degree in construction management, construction engineering, or other engineering/technical disciplines and at least 8 years of Project Management experience for engineering/construction projects. If no degree, at least 12 years of PM experience on engineering/construction projects. u2022 Ability to generate conceptual estimates for the Advance Technology Facilities Construction market u2022 Ability to lead estimates and multiple matrixed teams of engineers, project controls/schedulers assigned to your project. u2022 Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time with strong focus on quality, safety and innovation. u2022 Strong attention to detail; strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills.
