Requisition ID: 37207BR Travel Required: Up to 25% Major/Essential Functions: + Provides Endocrinology in-patient care, outpatient care, and in-patient consultation services + Supervises and teaches students and residents in both in-patient and outpatient care + Engages in advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship + Serves the academic community through participation in institutional governance such as committee work + Contributes to the community through academically-related public service complementary to the institutional mission + Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures + Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations + Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with Paul L. Foster School of Medicine Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibilities + Upholds and promotes the values-based culture of TTUHSC El Paso Grant Funded?: No Minimum Hire Rate: salary commensurate with related education, experience and/or skills Pay Basis: Monthly Work Location: El Paso Preferred Qualifications: + Board certification in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine + Board certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine + Experience teaching medical students and residents + Bilingual in English and Spanish + Regional or emerging national reputation for the rank of associate professor or higher Campus: HSC - El Paso Department: Internal Medicine Elp Genl Job Type: Full Time Pay Statement: Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan.
