Anesthesia Technician

PRN - as neededVariable Day ShiftOnsiteSummary:The Anesthesia Technician works under the supervision of the CRNA with the support of the Anesthesia Administration and Anesthesiologist.Responsibilities:1.Works under the supervision of the CRNA with the support of the Anesthesia Administration and Anesthesiologist.2.Provides ancillary duties and assists with patient care as directed.3.Assists Anesthesia staff by preparing supplies; calibrating and checking anesthesia equipment; and programming devices.4.Operates Cell Saver and other specialized equipment.5.Cleans and maintains designated areas and equipment.6.Other duties as required.Other information:Technical Expertise1.Experience in clinical perioperative care is required.2.Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.3.Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.4.Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.Education and Experience1.Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
