$10,000 Sign-On bonus (taxable) availableBonus paid in full with first paycheckFull-Time, 36 Hours/WeekNight ShiftOnsiteSummary:The Respiratory Therapist assess, plans, implements, evaluates, and directs care for premature, pediatric, and adult patients.Responsibilities:Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and directs care for premature, pediatric, and adult patientsAssesses the status and immediate airway needs of the critically ill neonate, pediatric, or adult patient in the intra-hospital transport, intensive care, and general care environmentDemonstrates the knowledge an skills necessary to provide care for the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of the patients served regardless of age.Participate in the education of ACH staff, patients, and parentsStaff maybe temporarily assigned to an area throughout the ACH enterprise, based on patient needs requiring similar knowledge and skill.Other duties as requiredOther information:Technical Expertise1.Experience in respiratory care is required2.Experience working with all levels within an organization is required3.Experience in healthcare is preferred4.Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is requiredEducation and Experience1. Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Respiratory Care2. Registered Respiratory Therapist credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care is required3. License: Current OH Respiratory Care Professional license is required4. Certification: Current Health Care Provider BLS training is required; NRP, PALS, ACLS, and STABLE certification is required within 1 year of hire and must be maintained throughout employment5. Years of relevant experience: new graduates 6.
