Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Minimum Qualifications u2022 Must have or be able to obtain a Valid Security Officer/Guard License as required by the state licensing authority u2022 Valid driveru2019s license from state of residence u2022 Must be at least 18 years old u2022 Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Duties & Responsibilities Patrol & Surveillance u2022 Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns u2022 Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials u2022 Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity Incident Response & Reporting u2022 Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol u2022 Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents u2022 Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors) Customer Service & Policy Enforcement u2022 Assist visitors and employees professionally u2022 Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols u2022 Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking) Required Skills & Abilities Minimum u2022 Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments u2022 Weekend availability u2022 Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills u2022 Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations u2022 Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting Preferred u2022 Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Physical Requirements (subject to change based on client-specific needs) u2022 Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break u2022 Walk a minimum of u00bd mile without stopping u2022 Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping Education & Experience Minimum u2022 High School Diploma or equivalent u2022 No prior experience required Preferred u2022 1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience u2022 2+ years of verifiable customer service experience Note: Responsibilities and requirements listed are not exhaustive.
