DescriptionFull Time Female Lead Specimen Collector PhlebotomistLocation: Toledo, OhioSchedule: Full Time/Part Time. Days, Schedule. Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm (hours will vary according to clinic and needs)Seeking: Female candidates required for observed collections of gender identified female patients and dual observations.Seeking: Candidates must be willing to travel throughout the territory, including overnights, as neededHelp make a positive impact in your communityMillennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor use of prescription medications and illicit drugs supporting improved clinical decision-making as part of treatment for millions of Americans with chronic pain, mental illness, and substance use disorders.The Lead Specimen Collector is a key role at Millennium Health. As our representative, this position provides exemplary care and exceptional customer service to patients, clinicians, and our laboratory.As a Lead Specimen Collector:Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid (saliva) specimensProcess and package collections or shippingServe as an intermediary between the practice / clinic and the laboratoryRecord patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory informationResolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portalOrder and maintain collection supplies inventory onsiteObserve collection for Millennium Health specimens (when applicable)Perform audits on established internal processes (i.e workflows)Acts as a subject matter expert, answering questions and addressing concernsProvide support and training to new and existing team membersDriving from/to multiple facilities may be required. Overnight stays for coverage may be required.RequirementsIdeal Candidate:1+ year of experience as a specimen collector or experience in the medical field, directly supporting patients preferredCertified phlebotomist with 1+ year experience in the field (experience considered in place of certificate)2+ years of customer service experience can be considered in place of medical experienceDemonstrated ability to navigate a smart phone and computer requiredValid driver's license requiredMedical insurance/billing and/or familiarity with medications/diagnostic codes is a plusAbility to ensure HIPAA, HiTrust, Confidentiality and Compliance policy, procedures, and standards are always adhered to.Ability to ensure administrative, physical and technical cyber security controls are always adhered to.High School diploma or equivalent requiredPhysical requirements: sitting 90%, walking 5%, standing 5%, lifting up to 20 lbs.BenefitsBenefits Offered:Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability Insurance401k with Company MatchPaid Time off and HolidaysTuition AssistanceBehavioral and Health Care ResourcesSalary Range:$21-24/hr.Salary offered is dependent on qualifications, experience, and geographical location.Please note this job posting is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
