HR Labor Relations Generalist

Advantage Technical, in partnership with our major Automotive OEM client, is seeking an HR Labor Relations Generalist. This role plays a key part in workforce management, employee engagement, and HR compliance within a fast-paced unionized environment.Pay: $37.77 per hourLocation: Toledo, OHSchedule: Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and occasional holidaysWhat You'll DoAs a key member of the HR and operations team, you'll:Ensure equitable administration and compliance with collective bargaining agreements.Manage grievance administration, interpretation, and resolution.Facilitate productive management-union relationships and promote open communication.Support attendance program administration and discipline assessments.Run attendance reports and create data-driven presentations with trend analysis.Conduct EEOC and other workplace investigations.Coach and guide operating management on employee relations matters.Support and implement lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.What You BringKey Experience & Expertise:Hands-on experience interpreting and applying union contracts and agreements.Proven ability to manage compliance, investigations, and conflict resolution within a unionized environment.Strong data analysis skills with the ability to make informed, strategic decisions.Experience using HRIS and reporting tools.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Education & Background:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years' experience in Human Resources with an emphasis in labor relations-preferably in manufacturing.Preferred Attributes:A customer-focused mindset that balances employee, union, and management needs.Excellent relationship-building skills rooted in transparency and trust.Attention to detail, accountability, and follow-through.Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment.Employee BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and pet insurance401(k) Retirement Savings PlansEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Commuter/Parking AccountsPeople PerksHealth Savings Account (HSA)AD & D InsuranceReady to take the next step?
