Driveline Technician I - Weekend Shift Apply now u00bb Date: Nov 10, 2025 Location: Virginia Beach, VA, US, 23454 Company: Dorman Products Job Summary Perform technical duties related to the manufacturing of driveshafts Primary Duties + Operate cut off saws, welders, hydraulic presses, balancers and other mechanical equipment + Use hand tools to assemble driveshafts + Using measuring devise from tape measures to various types of calipers + Other duties as assigned Qualifications + Have general mechanical experience + Works under close direction of senior personnel + Ability to/or learn to read tape measures, dial indicators and calipers + Ability to/or learn to use small tools such as air tools, hammers, pliers, punches + Ability to learn to operate cut off saws, welders and other mechanical equipment + Ability to read work order and instructions given to perform effectively + Physical Requirement: Must be able to properly lift, pack, stack and wrap up 50 pounds on a regular basis + Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to touch, grasp, handle and feel. Education / Experience + High School Diploma or Equivalent + Technical experience required
