With the support of applications specialists, process specialists, and service teams, you will promote Hachu2019s complete liquid analytical solutionsu2014including instrumentation, reagent chemistries, and services. This entrepreneurial role offers strong autonomy, strategic influence, and the stability of a guaranteed paycheck. This position is part of the Sales Department , located along the California/Nevada border region (Reno, Tahoe) , and will be field-based with approximately 50% travel , including overnight stays at approved company hotels. In this role, a typical day will look like: u00b7 Developing short- and long-term territory account plans to achieve assigned targets u00b7 Executing planned customer activities and documenting all interactions in Salesforce (SFDC) u00b7 Managing opportunities through standard sales process steps using SFDC u00b7 Preparing and presenting monthly funnel reviews to demonstrate pipeline quality and account command u00b7 Preparing accurate monthly forecasts by managing opportunity dates, values, and probabilities u00b7 Establishing and maintaining relationships with engineering firms and key accounts influencing customer decisions u00b7 Developing a strong network across the territory and positioning Hach as a key contributor in the water management community u00b7 Listening to the voice of the customer and asking questions that inspire breakthrough solutions u00b7 Moving quickly to action and maintaining focus without getting lost in details u00b7 Applying metrics, KPIs, and forecasting tools to self-manage productivity u00b7 Collaborating with leadership and sales operations to ensure a healthy and accurate opportunity funnel The essential requirements of the job include: u00b7 Bachelor's degree or equivalent; science-related fields (Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering) preferred u00b7 Competency with CRM systems ( preferred) and Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint u00b7 Ability to develop and execute business plans and manage territory operations u00b7 Ability and willingness to travel 50%, including overnights Desirable requirements: Certifications: u00b7 California State Water Resources Control Board Grade D4 or D5 u00b7 Valid T3 certificate, CWEA Wastewater Operator 3 Certificate, or Advanced Water Treatment 3 Certificate u00b7 Environmental Health Specialist registration u00b7 EIT or PE certification Preferred Experience (5+ years): u00b7 B2B experience selling complex industrial products or solutions u00b7 Liquid analytical equipment (engineer, technician, or solutions provider) u00b7 Hands-on experience with Hach equipment (DR3900, DR900, DR1900, Orbisphere, etc.) u00b7 Design experience using liquid Analytical instruments (electrochemistry, chlorine, ammonia, nutrients, inline analyzers) u00b7 End-user experience at drinking water, wastewater, or water re-use facilities Hach is proud to be part of the Water Quality segment of Veralto (NYSE: VLTO), a $5B global leader dedicated to ensuring access to clean water, safe food and medicine, and trusted essential goods. US ONLY : The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associateu2019s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
