As a Paratransit Quality Control Specialist , youu2019ll help keep our fleet fueled, clean, and safeu2014ensuring our vehicles are ready to serve the community every day. This entry-level position provides exposure to a professional maintenance shop environment, allowing you to gain real-world experience, build relationships with mechanics and shop leadership, and open doors to future opportunities such as Mechanic , Maintenance Supervisor , or Paratransit Driver . What Youu2019ll Do + Fuel & Fluids: Fuel all paratransit vehicles and service trucks; check and top off fluid levels (oil, coolant, transmission, washer fluid, etc.) + Vehicle Quality: Inspect vehicles for damage during fueling, check tire pressure, and report issues to the shop + Cleanliness: Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors to meet fleet standards + Fleet & Facility Support: Reposition vehicles in the yard to support dispatch operations; assist with minor maintenance tasks such as seat repairs, lamp replacements, or mirror adjustments + Parts & Records: Maintain accurate fuel logs, inventory records, and variance reports + Safety & Compliance: Follow all PPE, environmental, and safety protocols, including spill response procedures + Facility Care: Support yard organization, building upkeep, and seasonal outdoor maintenance Who You Are + At least 21 years of age + Valid driveru2019s license with a clean driving record (minimum 3 years) + High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) + Reliable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented + Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions + Able to bend, kneel, and stand for long periods + Flexible to work weekends, holidays, or extended hours as needed + Interested in learning and growing within the transportation or automotive industry + Subject to DOT drug testing and physical. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
