Department: GSE Center For Educational Partnerships Campus: Lincoln Center (LC) - NYC Position Summary: Reporting to the Associate Dean and Director of the Center for Educational Partnerships, the Resource Specialist for NYC Regional Bilingual Education Resource Network ( NYC - RBERN ) coordinates technical assistance and professional development for NYC schools and districts. This position may require occasional regional travel. Essential Functions: Facilitates, coordinates, and provides technical assistance, professional development, and related activities to the schools and districts throughout NYC . Assists the Director in carrying out the mission of the NYC - RBERN by maintaining ongoing communication with the schools in the region and the Statewide districts. Facilitates school-based activities in target schools that are in various stages of improvement. Attends NYSED network strategy professional development meetings in Albany. Required Qualifications: Bacheloru2019s Degree. New York State certification as a bilingual/ ESL teacher and/or administrator. Minimum 5 years of teaching experience with English Language Learners students. Preferred Qualifications: Masteru2019s Degree or higher in Bilingual Education or TESOL . Teaching experience in secondary schools. Minimum Salary: $96,967.00 Maximum Salary: $96,967.00
