Auria is looking to hire a Senior System Test Engineer to support the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. This role is ONSITE at based at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO, and plays a vital role in supporting the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a vital component of the Missile Defense System. It provides a crucial operational platform that enables the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and tactical levels to systematically plan missile defense operations, monitor battle progress, and actively manage networked sensors and weapon systems to meet global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC offers a layered missile defense capability, delivering an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It acts as a force multiplier by linking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations both worldwide and locally to improve overall performance. Additionally, C2BMC plays a key role in all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the missile defense system's current and future capabilities.The System Test Team is responsible for planning and analyzing all ground and flight tests related to the C2BMC program.Essential Functions:Ground test types include:- Pairwise tests- Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI)- Integrated Ground Test (GTI)- Distributed Ground Test (GTD)- Cyber Tests- Space Domain Awareness (SDA)- Pre-flight test HWIL effortsFlight tests are performed with predetermined sensors and shootersInternational events consist of various ground and flight testsWHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:Mission-Driven Professional: Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world.A Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline from an accredited university is preferred, along with 8 years of experience; or a Master's degree (preferred) in a STEM-related field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD in a related field with 4 years of relevant work experience.Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to startWillingness and ability to travel up to 10% to support business needsExperience in integration and testing within the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) programPlanning all assigned test events, focusing on creating and implementing the necessary test artifacts for each one:- Test Objectives and Architectures- Data Item Description- Sensor Resource Defense Manager Designs (SRM) Settings- Operational Tasking Data Link (OPTASKLINK)- Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI)- System Configuration and Forwarding Tables, CDS, TDACS, TRAUT TDACS, Communications Connectivity Matrices, Event Configuration Baseline (ECB)System Adjustable Parameter (SAPs)/Site Specific Parameter (SSPs)WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:Master's Degree in Systems EngineeringCertification: INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) CertificationCertification: Object Management Group Certified Systems Modeling Professional - Model Builder Fundamental (OCSMP - MBF)Self-starter with strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with government clients as well as internal and external personnelPrior experience with the C2BMC program in any role is highly preferredPAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be ased on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $121,000 - $133,000APPLICATION DEADLINE: The deadline to apply is October 31, 2025.THE AURIA TEAM:Auria is a provider of solutions and software in support of complex Space, National Security, and Cyber missions of federal, international, and commercial customers.
