Auria is actively seeking a Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET)u00a0to support the development and deployment of the Protected Tactical Enterprise System (PTES). This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO.The ideal candidate will perform a range of responsibilities in support of PTES, contributing to the development and execution of automated tests for next-generation technology in an agile development environment.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:Develop and execute automated tests using the established automated test framework.Collaborate with developers and testers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.Work within an agile development environment as part of a cross-discipline team.Support continuous integration, testing, and delivery within a CI/CD pipeline.Utilize and test within a microservice, containerized software architecture.Decompose complex requirements and capabilities into executable, discrete user stories.WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:Mission-Driven Professional: Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world.Ability to obtain an interim U.S. Government SECRET security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship).(Engineer Level 3) Bachelor's degree and 7+ years relevant experience, Master's degree and 4+ years relevant experience; (Engineer Level 4) Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience, Master's with 9+ years of experienceExpert knowledge in developing automated tests using Python.Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts such as software design patterns, interfaces, and class constructionStrong understanding of functional programming concepts, including first-class functions, higher-order functions, and anonymous functions.Experience working within an agile system development framework, conducting systems engineering tasks for a complex system.Knowledge of automated testing concepts.Ability to isolate and resolve complex problems, identify workarounds, and implement and document corrective actions across multiple systems and components.Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple demonstration events at the same time.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Proficiency with M.S.
