This role is central to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of cloud-based infrastructures that are crucial for the operation and security of mission-critical radar systems. The successful candidate will be pivotal in managing, optimizing, and safeguarding this infrastructure, aligning their efforts with SZQ's strategic objectives in missile defense.This is a full-time position on Peterson Space Force Base (SFB) located in Colorado Springs, CO, with 20% telework capability within the Colorado Springs area unless otherwise designated by the government customer.ResponsibilitiesUser Account Management and Directory Services: Skilled in managing user accounts and directory services in both Windows and Linux/Unix environments, ensuring user authentication and directory integrity.Security Policy Enforcement: Demonstrated experience in enforcing security policies and maintaining system security and integrity across various operating systems.Scripting and Automation: Proficient in using scripting languages (such as PowerShell, Bash, etc.) to automate routine tasks, enhancing system management and operational efficiency.Patch Management and System Updates: Experienced in managing virus updates, patching, and upgrading systems. Capable of conducting systematic testing, deployment, and staging of updates.Linux System Administration: Hands-on experience with various Linux distributions, including knowledge of package management and system maintenance tools.Active Directory and Windows Services Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DNSSEC, Group Policies, and DHCP. Proficient in managing and maintaining Windows network environments.Networking and Database Management: Skilled in setting up and maintaining network services, including DNS and database management systems like SQL Server.Problem Solving and Technical Support: Strong ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, providing high-level support and technical guidance.System Security and Compliance: Familiar with implementing security measures and maintaining compliance with security standards and best practices across different platforms.Team Collaboration and Leadership: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
