Joint Exercise PlannerLocationUS-CO-Colorado SpringsID2025-1471Categoryu00a0Trainingu00a0u00a0Position Typeu00a0Full-Timeu00a0u00a0Remoteu00a0NoOverviewApogee is actively seeking a Joint Exercise Planner to join our SMDC team.Program: This position will provide A&AS to support the USASMDC G37 Training, Readiness and Exercise Division (G37 TREX) mission.u00a0This position will support the Exercise Branch, responsible for planning, synchronizing, executing, and assessing space operations support to USSTRATCOM, USSPACECOM, and other COCOM major exercises, experiments, and war games.This full-time role is onsite at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.ResponsibilitiesJoint Exercises Support.The Joint Exercise Team will coordinate directly with USSTRATCOM, GCCs, ASCCs, Corps, Division, 1st Space Brigade, Satellite Operations Brigade, and the 100th Ground-Based Mission Defense (GMD) to provide required space exercise support.Provide expertise in planning STRATCOM GLOBAL LIGHTNING and GLOBAL THUNDER, DEFENDER series, the 1st Space Brigade and 100th GMD major training events, and additional Joint exercises using the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) process.Execute the exercises outlined above. This includes controlling the planned storylines and injecting the developed MSEL.u00a0The contractor shall use the JMSEL tool to inject the planned events.Use the Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS) tool to collect Lessons Learned/After Action Review (AAR) comments from events that occurred during the exercise.u00a0QualificationsMinimum Experience:Citizenship: Must be a US citizenClearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS with SCI eligibility.Education: Bachelor's degreeYears of Experience: 10 years of relevant experience in exercise planning.Additional Experience:Must possess strong analytical, technology, and organizational skillsAccuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail are requiredAbility to work independently and meet communicated schedules and deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Additional Experience: Exercise planning in the space domain preferred.Additional InformationLocation:On-site at Peterson SFBTravel: 25% to Germany, Hawaii, Korea, and CONUS locationsPay RangeUSD $120,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesApply at:
