Temporary Fulltime position from 02/01/2026 to 11/30/202644 Hours/week16.68/ hour US workerH-2A Adverse Housing Compensation Adjustment -$1.80 -- Wage for H-2A workers provided housing is $16.68The Ag Equipment Operator position will be required to perform the following tasks. Must be able to make make minor equipment repairs, and perform routine maintenance and cleaning of farm implements, and operate tractors and farm implements required to plant, cultivate, and harvest hay, silage and other crops; must stack hay bales; pick rocks, minimal fence maintenance on existing lines. The job entails working around farm machinery, a variety of farm animals as well as exposure to predators and snakes. Most duties are performed out of doors, and entail exposure to extreme heat, cold, dust, rain and other environmental conditions. Worker must be able to crouch, bend, lift and carry up to 100 pounds. Additional hours and split shifts needed during seeding, haying and harvest. Driving is required on ranch only but if they have a valid drivers license may drive off the ranch. Increased wages and bonus may be possible depending on experience.Housing and Workers Compensation insurance will be provided at no charge to the workers. Social security / Medicaid Taxes and Federal / State taxes will be withheld from U.S. Worker's paychecks. Voluntary withholdings will be deducted from foreign workers' paychecks at their request. Employer will make the following deductions when applicable: FICA, loans and advances, long-distance telephone charges the reasonable repair or replacement cost of willful or negligent damage to housing, tools and equipment caused by the worker (other than normal wear and tear). Worker who quit or are terminated for cause prior to completing 50% of the contract will be required to reimburse the employer for the full amounts of advanced and/or reimbursed transportation and subsistence. Level II wage rate is $18.48 with a housing deduction of $1.80 / hour for H2-A employees for a total wage of $16.68. Increase pay and bonus may be possible depending on view of the statutorily established basic function of the Employment Service (ES) as a no-fee labor exchange that is as a forum for bringing together employers and job seekers, neither the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) nor the State Workforce Agencies (SWA) are guarantors of the accuracy or truthfulness of information contained on job orders submitted by employers.
