Pharmacy Technician - (1.0 FTE)

Status: 1.0 FTE Job Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting pharmacist(s) in providing safe and effective medication therapy to patients at St. Peteru2019s Health. Aptitudes: Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and use time wisely. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at the same time. Demonstrated ability for and of cognitive, organizational and emotional abilities to deal effectively with multiple tasks, deadlines, difficult situations and/or customer needs. Demonstrated ability to handle these situations in a calm and courteous manner that contributes to the overall efficiency and productivity of the pharmacy. Demonstrated ability to accept direction from the pharmacist in charge and work effectively with the pharmacist to provide the needed services. Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload to ensure emergent and stat workload is completed in a timely manner. Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability and creativity in dealing with a variety of workload situations and demands. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people with different sociological and educational backgrounds. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member. Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail and complete tasks accurately. Demonstrated high level of motivation to provide timely customer service.
