Responsible for the success of projects of large and complex scope. Must be listed as a Project Manager or Sponsor in Vantagepoint.2. Independently performs all assignments, addresses staff questions/concerns of moderate complexity, escalates critical and financial matters pertaining to the project to the supervisor, can identify areas needing improvement, and recommend corrective action to improve overall project performance.RESPONSIBILITIES- 1. u00a0Financial Management //Utilize weekly budget report, project reports, accounts receivable (A/R) report, and staff utilization to manage projects and resources. Escalate to Department Manager for additional staffing needs.- Prepare scope of work (SOW), Levels of Effort (LOE) and schedules for projects. Identify out of scope requests and prepare proposals for additional authorizations.- Responsible for collection of invoices from clients and other Project Manager's clients under their direction. Communicates with Department Manager for delayed payment risk plans.2.u00a0Corporate Compliance + Risk Assessment //- Ensure completion of the contract and subcontract review process through the Contracts Depart ent and appropriate filing and adhere to jurisdictional requirements and company-established signature matrix protocol.- Review and provide contract mark ups, negotiate client contract modifications with support from Contracts Department, and knowledge of 5 contract review modifications including indemnification (duty to defend), standard of care, insurance requirements, warranty, and payment terms- Negotiate payment terms with the client.- Ensure the company-established QA/QC process is followed from proposals to final deliverables.- Capable of identifying preclusions on pursuits and teaming opportunities.3.u00a0Communication + Collaboration //- Held accountable for communications and collaboration such as ensuring that messages and information are not only received but understood and acted upon appropriately within the department, other disciplines and regions, and corporate resources including engagement of staff.- Able to articulate project requirements timelines, deliverables, corporate directives, in a concise and clear manner.- Ensure project and company communication is provided and documented to clients and staff.- Assist with and provide guidance to marketing for requests for qualifications (RFQ), proposals, interview preparation, teaming, resumes, etc. Capable of writing project approaches for RFQ for marketing pursuits.4.u00a0Client + Internal Satisfaction //- Be responsive and accessible, anticipate needs and proactively offer solutions, address complex problems and concerns timely, and follow up to ensure satisfaction post-resolution.- Oversee multiple clients and ensure a positive and professional rapport.5.u00a0People Development //- Provide timely feedback directly to staff including for annual evaluation.- Ensures adequate staffing and recruiting of project team members.- Delegates work to, trains, mentors, and supervises junior-level staff and other entry to senior level project managers to complete assignments.- Exhibit exceptional leadership skills, including the ability to clearly define goals and responsibilities that are clear and realistic.Technical //Work on projects that include the following scopes:- Familiar with ASCE 38-22 & 75-22- Understands SUE processes/Quality Levels- Basic records research (811)- Reconciles field discrepancies- Reads plans/as-builts- Coordinates support vendors- Familiar with SUE equipment- Understands Utility Design- Conflict analysis/matrix- Land/local regulations for SUE- UESI training- New technology in SUE/SurveyUtilize the following software applications to complete/review project work:- AutoCAD, Microstation, ORD- Esri based data collection software- BlueBeam / AdobeCOBBFENDLEY CHARACTERISTICS- We Collaborate //u00a0with a professional attitude making communication a priority.- We Commit //u00a0to maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment, with a focus on accountability.- We Build Communities //u00a0by fulfilling our responsibilities with integrity that is consistent with industry standards.PHYSICAL/COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS + ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORSMost work is performed in a professional office environment.
