Description Leidos is looking for a DevOps Engineer on a 200+ FTE technical development program responsible for delivering modern Identity Access Credential Management (ICAM) solutions. As a DevOps Engineer on this program, you will have the opportunity to build strong systems and software utilizing cloud capabilities to support a complex program. Based in DevOps framework, you will participate in and/or direct major deliverables throughout all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing. This role requires supporting an on-call rotation to ensure mission critical services remain operational 24/7/365. Rotation is typically to be on-call 1 full calendar week every 2 months. Required Quals u2022 Active TS/SCI with Polygraph + Requires BS degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree. + Experience with PostGres, Oracle and MySQL u2022 Expert in Linux operating system usage u2022 Expert in using DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and Rundeck u2022 Expert in the software development lifecycle, with experience delivering within DevOps toolsets/practices u2022 Direct experience utilizing software testing performance tools, such as J-unit u2022 Experience working in an Agile development environment and tempo u2022 Experience scripting and using AWS services including Cloudformation, EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, etc u2022 Experience with containerization (Docker, EKS, ECS, etc.) u2022 Experience with Nexus administration u2022 Experience establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines u2022 Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) u2022 Well versed with using version control systems u2022 Well versed with using issue/problem tracking systems u2022 Experience with JIRA, Confluence and Agile development methods u2022 Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, including container orchestration, deployment, and scaling in a production environment u2022 Proficiency in building, managing, and optimizing containerized applications using CI/CD pipelines, along with knowledge of container registries and security best practices Desired Quals u2022 Experience with Elastic tools u2022 Experience working in the Sponsoru2019s cloud environments u2022 Experience with Nexus administration and maintenance u2022 Experience with Sponsoru2019s release management tools and processes u2022 AWS certification u2022 Container-related certification u2022 Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certification, demonstrating expertise in designing, building and running applications on Kubernetes At Leidos, we donu2019t want someone who
