Here's a look at what your days might include:- Reviewing drawings, specs, and bid documents to put together accurate cost estimates- Collaborating with clients, vendors, and teammates to define project scopes and eliminate gaps- Using your technical know-how to forecast costs, risks, and design implications- Leading scope review meetings and communicating strategies with internal and external stakeholders- Supporting ongoing projects with cost-to-complete estimates and change orders- Sharing your expertise to help train and mentor junior estimators- Keeping things organized, detailed, and moving forward --- even when deadlines are tightWhat You Bring to the Table- 5+ years of experience estimating industrial electrical projects (ideally up to $7M in value)- Strong understanding of design-build and plan/spec estimating- Proficiency with software such as Accubid, Bluebeam, Excel, and AutoCAD- Excellent analytical and communication skills --- you can interpret data and explain it clearly- A collaborative mindset --- you work well with others and don't hesitate to jump in where needed- A degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Why You'll Love It HereWe're serious about doing great work --- and taking care of the people who make it happen.
