JOB REQUIREMENTS: Wisconsin Building Supply operates locationsthroughout Wisconsin supplying windows, doors, roofing, siding,millwork, builders hardware, columns, trim, mouldings, cabinetry,countertops, decking, railing, gypsum, lumber & plywood, insulation, andadditional building materials. . The Door Assembler I is responsible forassembling pre-hung door components. This person will stock lumber,plates and other work-related materials and supplies, and will alsoband/stack finished products. What you will do Work on a pre-hungdoor assembly line. Stock doors, frames, plates and stock componentsfor door assembly. Assemble components under the direction of theline leaders. Load and band finished materials on carts/palletsinside and/or outside. Receive incoming products, commodities, andmaterials. Maintain work area by keeping it neat and organized. Assist in the set-up of component assembly process. Monitorproduction workflow process assisting other areas as needed. Operateall equipment necessary to the assembly process. Adhere toestablished safety rules and regulations and follows all safetyprocedures; maintain a safe environment. Comply with Company'sattendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance. Assist in maintaining an organized work environment which may includeemptying trash receptacles and keeping all bays/staging areas clean andorganized. Provide excellent customer service and participate in apositive work environment. Monitor inventory as required by locationmanagement. Retain an awareness of the work environment critical tothe task at hand to produce error free and damage free results. Participate in and complete assigned trainings. Other duties asassigned by Management. Required For All Jobs Perform other duties asassigned. Comply with all policies and standards. Adheres toCompany's commitment to workplace safety. Education Qualifications High School or equivalent work experience required. ExperienceQualifications Prior carpentry experience preferred. Skills andAbilities Must be able to read a tape measure and use a hammer. Ability to learn to operate equipment such as routers, saws, presses,and staple guns. Available for overtime as needed.
