Job Summary At Prevea Healththe Courier Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportationof documents, packages, and other materials between locations. This rolerequires strong time management skills, excellent customer service, anda commitment to safety while driving. What you will do Delivers clinicmaterial, picks up supplies and mail, and distributes to appropriatedestinations and runs errands for the clinic as requested. Executing thedelivery routes to ensure on-time deliveries. Handle all lab samples andmedications in a safe and efficient manner while protecting criticalhealth information. Load and unload daily supply items with care,ensuring proper handling. Verify delivery information, includingaddresses, recipient details, and special instructions. Meets daily withsupervisor to discuss special needs, problems, and assignments. Ensuresproper maintenance of courier vehicle. Deliver all daily supplies tocorrect locations by the end of shift Evaluate traffic patterns,alternative routes, and weather conditions daily. Inspect and safelyoperate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws. Keep current oncompany mandated tasks and departmental communications. EducationQualifications High School Diploma and/or GED Required Skills andAbilities Knowledge of transportation routes within the communityAbility to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructionSkilled in manual and finger dexterity Ability to identify problems andrecommend solutions Ability to establish and maintain effective workingrelations with staff and the public Ability to communicate clearly andfollow instruction Ability to maintain professional conduct andappearance at all times Potential for availability or use of privatelyowned vehicle.
