Aaron Enterprises is a specialty underground construction company located in York Pennsylvania.u00a0We are seeking experiencedu00a0CDL Truck Drivers to join our TEAM.u00a0Essential Job Functions/Requirements:u00a0- Driving - Safely operates commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, box trucks, or other specified vehicles, in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.- Ability to safely drive in all types of weather conditions- Vehicle Inspection - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck and itsu00a0equipment is safe, working order, checking tires, fluids, and other components.u00a0- Cargo Management - Supervise or assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring cargo is accurately verified and properly secured to prevent damage or shifting during transport.u00a0- Route Planning - Plan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel efficiency and minimizing downtime.- Safety & Regulations - Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations, including those for transporting hazardous materials if applicable.u00a0- Log keeping & Paperwork - Maintain accurate logs of working hours, mileage, fuel expenses, and cargo details, as well as complete all necessary delivery documentation as well asu00a0Vehicle inspections reports- Communication - Effectively communicate with customers to report delivery status, delays, or any road incidents.u00a0```{=html}```- Travel -- Available to work out of town requiring overnight stay as business conditions require.- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly.- Maintain accurate records of trips, including driver logs, mileage, and delivery receipts.- When not driving or back from a run, assist the TEAM as needed in the shop.Required Skills & Qualifications- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a CDL truck driver.- Excellent vehicle operation skills for heavy commercial vehicles.u00a0- Knowledge of and adherence to all federal and state transportation regulations.- Must possess a valid CDL license, clean MVR and pass a DOT physical- The ability to perform basic maintenance and identify mechanical issues.u00a0- u00a0Proficiency in using GPS and reading maps to plan efficient routes.u00a0- A thorough understanding of safety protocols and regulations.u00a0- The ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing paperwork and logs.- u00a0Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules as business conditions require.- Commitment to safety, both for oneself and others on the road.- Possess a professional and customer-oriented attitude.- Exercises honesty, integrity and respect with all customers and co-workers- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe driving practices.- Safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to designated destinations and ensures the timely delivery of products and contributing to our company's reputation for reliability.Applications / Resumes Can Be Submitted:u00a0Online through our website:
