Ollieu2019s Associate Benefits: u00b7 Medical, Dental, Vision, and RX coverage begins after 90 Days of employment. u00b7 401K, generous company match with immediate vesting. u00b7 20% associate discount on all Ollieu2019s purchases. u00b7 Vast array of voluntary benefits Responsibilities: u00b7 Perform troubleshooting on equipment/machinery as issues arise in the distribution center and make necessary repairs based on conclusions. u00b7 u2022Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on mechanical material handling equipment, including transportation conveyors, sortation systems, and forklifts u00b7 u2022Perform emergency mechanical repairs to failed material handling systems u00b7 u2022Basic electrical troubleshooting u00b7 u2022Perform maintenance projects on conveyor systems u00b7 u2022Perform repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems u00b7 u2022Identify and locate required repair parts for failed systems u00b7 u2022Assists Maintenance Tech II and Maintenance Tech III associates on projects and troubleshooting. Qualifications: u00b7 Must be able to operate all equipment necessary to perform the role. This includes but is not limited to pallet jacks, various styles of forklifts, and other Material Handling Equipment as needed. u00b7 Ability to work independently and self-motivated to seek work. u00b7 Ability and willingness to follow material handling equipment safe operating procedures. u00b7 Ability to complete assignments in time allotted. u00b7 Ability to work a flexible schedule (until work is done) u00b7 Ability to work regularly at a maximum height of four flights of stairs. u00b7 Ability to operate a cherry picker and/ or scissor lift, and work at a maximum height of 36 feet while being tethered to a safety harness. u00b7 3 + years of progressive mechanical aptitude experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment and the ability to work independently and safely, with limited supervision. u00b7 Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. u00b7 Basic experience in working with and troubleshooting 120VAC-480VAC electrical components as well as 24VDC systems. u00b7 Basic knowledge of common distribution center electrical and mechanical systems. u00b7 Experienced and proficient utilizing machines/equipment as follows: hand tools, measuring tools, drills, grinders, saws, multimeter, tachometer, welder, etc. Physical Requirements: u00b7 Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. u00b7 Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds. u00b7 Ability to bend and twist frequently. u00b7 Must have ability to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures. u00b7 Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. u00b7 Ability to stand for extended periods of time. u00b7 Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
