Position Summary:ASM Global - Charlottesville, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Production Runner at John Paul Jones Arena. Under general direction of the Production/Events Manager, this individual is responsible for various errands associated with the production and operations of various shows. Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesu2022 Provide transportation for various personnel throughout the show day, such as hotel and airport pickups and drop offs usingeither personal car or company-provided vehicleu2022 Run errands such as department meals, laundry, grocery shopping, package delivery, equipment rentals, coffee runs, etc.u2022 Coordinate large take-out orders with local restaurants, purchasing, retrieving, and distributing to touring personnelu2022 Coordinate large shopping lists from local grocery stores, deliver to the venueu2022 Assist production staff with general production-related dutiesu2022 Maintain cash and receipts for expense reimbursement and reconciliationu2022 Provide local area information to touring staffu2022 Pick up and drop off company-rented 15-passenger and cargo vansu2022 Light administrative duties such as making copies, posting signs and cash reconciliationu2022 Confidentiality is very critical to the roleu2022 Various special projects and tasks assigned Qualificationsu2022 21 years of age or olderu2022 Valid driver's license with a good driving recordu2022 Safe driving habits a mustu2022 Friendly and personable, works well with others but also able to work independentlyu2022 Punctual, reliable, and responsibleu2022 Professional and courteousu2022 Ability to work a long day (typical show day runs about 16 to 18 hours)u2022 Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentu2022 Thorough knowledge of the local area preferred, but not requiredu2022 Bring a passion for accomplishment and success and set high standards for performanceu2022 Value team-work and collaboration.
