As the YouthSupport Specialist, you will provide individual skill development andsupport to youth and adults referred through the Comprehensive CommunityServices (CCS) Program. You'll help clients achieve theirindividualized goals by assisting them in their journey toward success.Our program is all about making a difference in the lives of our clientsand their families. We offer a range of services including individualmeetings, fun recreational activities that build social skills, crisisintervention, school support, and parent contact. Apply today to joinour team ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE YOUTH SUPPORT SPECIALIST: Evaluateyouth and families for treatment needs and refer to appropriateresources. Analyze client histories and capabilities to determineservices required to control safety threats. Provide face-to-facecontact with families to ensure safety and cooperation with safety planand to provide crisis response to deescalate, support and educate. Serveas part of the Safety Team. Assess families and refer to any neededcommunity resources. Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate forclients in emergency and crisis situations. Safely transport clients asneeded. Act as a resource to evaluate and determine necessary responsesin de-escalating crisis situations with youth and families. LOCATION:Appleton, WI.
