Material Handler

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Material Handlers are responsible for performing sitewarehousing functions that support the overall operations and othercustomer-related activities. The activities may include but are notlimited to receiving, kitting/bin fill, cycle counting, and shipping.This individual will be able to work independently by carrying outduties with limited supervision while being highly self-motivated. Ableto work cooperatively in a team and cross functional team(s) as needed.Able to maintain a level temperament in a stressful environment. Openlyand proactively shares information, knowledge, and experience withco-workers. Competent in required job knowledge and skills to performassigned tasks. Maintain a positive attitude and help drive continuousimprovement through team involvement. Reviews tactical productionschedules, seeks direction when needed to on how to support the goalsfor the day-to-day operations by understanding and taking direction teamleads or other leadership individuals. Performs a variety of duties inmultiple different material handling tasks and willing to operateequipment as defined in the work instructions or training parameters.Capable of validating customer data sheets against a purchase order orthe pick sheets. Items are validated by - part number, part revision,size and shape, form/fit/function of material, and bill of material.Performs basic automated and manual equipment set-up functions which mayinclude the loading of jigs, fixtures, and software. Ensure thatequipment that is used are in a good working condition and that anyrequired inspection is completed before use (EX: forklift Standup andSit-down) OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of aHigh School diploma or is required. Less than One (1) year of relatedexperience is required; One (1) or more years of related experience ispreferred.
