Westwood Professional Services, Inc. isseeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Engineer specializingin roundabouts and roadway design. The ideal candidate will havein-depth knowledge of the planning, design, and construction ofroundabouts, with a strong understanding of traffic flow management,safety considerations, and environmental factors. As a Senior CivilEngineer, you will lead and manage projects from conception through tocompletion, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, andstakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of diverse roadwaydesign projects. Duties and Responsibilities Work as a senior member ofour roadway design team under the direction of various Project Managers.Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Lead thedesign of roundabouts, intersections and roadways for varioustransportation projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, andnational standards (such as WisDOT, AASHTO and MUTCD) Manage all phasesof roadway design and roundabout projects, including planning anddesign. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and otherengineers to ensure timely completion of projects within budget.Coordinate with clients, public agencies, and stakeholders to ensurethat designs meet their needs and regulatory requirements. Providetechnical leadership to junior engineers and project teams, offeringguidance and mentorship in roundabout design and engineering practices.Prepare detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D Producehigh quality work and implement and maintain QA/QC procedure Oversee thetechnical aspects of various projects Coordinate with other disciplines,support services and subconsultants Review plans, technicalspecifications, contract documents and estimates Prepare technicalspecifications and cost estimates Perform field reviews and otherassessments for use in design Participate in contract bidding, providelimited observation during construction, review submittals and RFIsRepresent clients and Westwood in meetings with governmental agenciesPrepare, maintain, and coordinate schedules of multiple concurrentprojects Develop and track milestones to ensure on-time and on-budgetdelivery Ensure division, regional, and company values, policies andpractices are consistently followed within the survey service Lead byexample - display solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness,and professionalism Required...
