What Youu2019ll Do: As an SLP-I, youu2019ll play a vital role in supporting students with communication challenges by: + Conducting comprehensive assessments in speech, language, oral motor, and feeding/swallowing. + Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans aligned with each studentu2019s IEP. + Delivering services in diverse settings including pull-out, classroom, and co-teaching formats . + Collaborating with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure educational benefit . + Maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with MSDE, ASHA, and departmental standards . + Participating in team meetings, staff development, and community outreach . What You Bring: + Masteru2019s degree in Speech-Language Pathology . + Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. + Maryland State Licensure (or eligibility). + Experience working with children with communication disorders. Physical & Professional Requirements: + Ability to lift/carry students and adaptive equipment as needed. + Comfortable working in a school setting with potential exposure to communicable diseases. + Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills . + Commitment to professional development and service excellence .
