Hiring: Campaign Manager About the Campaign Manager Position Full-time Exempt Deadline: Rolling The Campaign Manager will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of campaigns that advance our mission and strengthen the leadership of frontline community members. They will play a critical role in building community power across housing, climate, and environmental justice initiatives while supervising and mentoring a dynamic policy and campaigns team. Key Responsibilities u2022 Design and manage effective issue-based community organizing campaigns at the local and regional levels.u2022 Supervise the policy and campaigns team, including organizers and coordinators.u2022 Lead campaign planning, issue cutting, research, power mapping, base building, and evaluation.u2022 Oversee campaign field operations (canvassing, phone/text banking, tabling, and relationship building).u2022 Develop and manage campaign budgets and strategies.u2022 Collaborate with stakeholders, coalition partners, policymakers, and community members.u2022 Plan and execute campaign-related events to increase engagement and visibility.u2022 Identify and amplify narratives around housing and climate justice, tenant rights, energy democracy, and just transition solutions.u2022 Track and report on campaign activities using systems and databases.u2022 Build and maintain strong relationships with legislators, lobbyists, and partner organizations.u2022 Stay informed on the political and social movement landscape. Qualificationsu2022 High school diploma or equivalent (Associateu2019s or Bacheloru2019s preferred).u2022 Minimum two (2) years of experience organizing and managing issue-based campaigns.u2022 Minimum two (2) years of direct supervisory experience.u2022 Demonstrated success with coalition-based organizing and advocacy.u2022 Racial equity approach to organizing, advocacy, and policy.u2022 Strong project management and relationship-building skills, especially with BIPOC and multilingual communities.u2022 Experience with policy analysis, legislative advocacy, and training facilitation.u2022 Subject matter knowledge in housing, climate, or environmental justice preferred.u2022 Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with work order systems or Salesforce a plus.u2022 Valid driveru2019s license, reliable transportation, and local residency (Buffalo area).u2022 Flexible to work evenings or weekends when needed; Spanish language skills a plus.This is a supervisory position which serves as part of the Extended Leadership Team (ELT).
