This role must have a working knowledge of CAD/CAM practices.u00a0Deliver prerequisite engineering datasets, standards, methods, updates to the customer and production teams. Review documentation, drawings and datasheets for completeness, overlapping requirements and solutions and reuse opportunities. Support resolution of technical issues within the CAD/CAM environment. Work with process owners to ensure project goals and program expectations are successfully met. Facilitate discussions and dissemination of technical decisions and pertinent information.u00a0Knowledge, Skill Sets, Education, ExperienceWhat you'll need:- Associates' degree or equivalent- 1+ years' experience in the field or related area or combination of education and experience- Familiarity with Datasheet- Familiarity with SMT / Through Hole Electronic components- Familiarity in the electronic PCB industry- Familiarity with CAD programs- Proficient with MS Office software- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Demonstrates attention to detail- Ability to collaborate with others to solve problems- Ability to work extra hours as neededu00a0What you'll do:u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Ensure the complete reception of all documentation and files needed to assemble the product (Bill of Materials, CAD and gerber data, XYRS, ECO, drawings, assembly procedures, etc.).u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Read and interpret drawings, schematics and datasheets.u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Research engineering related problems that are submitted by employees, customers, engineering, sales, receiving, and purchasing.u00a0Ability to analyze data and situation and come up with creative solutions.u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Identify and resolve engineering related issues that affect the manufacturability of the product (incorrect CAD and gerber files, BOM and XYRS discrepancies, polarity/orientation questions, components that do not fit the pads on the PCB, assembly instruction verification, component package issues, incorrect stencil, etc).u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Interact with customers for follow-up via phone and email in various phases of production.u00a0Able to showcase thorough follow up to prevent delays.u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Maintain a complete and accurate component library that is used to create the Bill of Materials (BOM).u00a0Make additions and corrections to components based on input from datasheets, production work center, and customer feedback.u00a0This system must be in sync with the pick & place machines component library.u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Correct BOM discrepancies as reported by customers and other departmentsu00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Collaborate with production.
