The Department of Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at Syracuse University, is seeking a part-time instructor of Spanish to teach one 3-credit course in upper-level Spanish (SPA 322) in the Spring 2026 semester, which begins on January 12, 2026 (appointment begins on January 5, 2026). SPA 322 (Introduction to Latin American Literature); 3 credits Cross listed with: LAS 302 Modern Latin American literature using new methods of study, basically Cultural Semiotics. The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined based on their per-credit-rate-history within the hiring department.
