Marine Equipment Repairer/Operator (Dual Rate)

Responsibilities You will work under the general supervision of the engineer on watch. You will oil and grease all machinery. You will monitor all machinery on regular rounds. You will check bilges and operate bilge pumps. You will operate manifold switch oil level from one tank to another. You will assist in making repairs to diesel engines. You will conduct routine maintenance of diesel propulsion system, pumping and auxiliary systems ventilation controls auxiliary engines, automatic control consoles, sanitary and lubrication systems.
