THE TOOLS WEu2019LL PROVIDE TO YOU + Paid on-the-job training + No late evenings u2013 Most locations close by 7pm + Competitive pay set at $20.50 per hour + Now offering Earned Wage Access through DailyPay + Promoting from within u2013 95% of upper-level management started out in an entry-level position + Safety Shoes, Uniforms & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) + Tuition Reimbursement + Employee Discount u2013 50% off most services for up to 2 vehicles + Paid vacation and holidays + Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) Savings plan _Terms and conditions may apply and benefits may differ depending on location_ Responsibilities + Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions. + Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication services for vehicles. + Inspect vehicles for any potential issues or areas that require attention. + Conduct basic maintenance tasks such as tire rotations and fluid level checks. + Basic computer knowledge/aptitude + Keep track of inventory and ensure all supplies are readily available. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment. + Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements + Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. + Excellent problem-solving skills + Strong customer service and communication skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. + Able to learn and follow the VIOC SuperPro process for all services. + Achieve SuperPro certification. + Must have reliable transportation. Essential Functions _Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions of the job_ + Inspecting and replacing car lights and wipers. + Check fluid levels and add fluids to vehicle when necessary. + Inspect/replace engine air filter and cabin air filter. + Add oil to engine in the proper amount based on specifications of vehicle make/model. + Able to remove/rotate/lift/reinstall tires for tire rotation service. + Lubricate necessary components of the chassis/driveline. + Perform additional services on cooling systems and transmissions. + Perform second checks by visually verifying and performing proper callouts to ensure all necessary services have been performed correctly. + Able to move from bay to bay to perform services on multiple vehicles. + Frequently ascends/descends stairs/catwalks/stepstools to retrieve vehicle parts (filters, wipers, etc.) or perform services top side or underneath the vehicle (drain oil, replace filter, differential services, lubrication) + Able to work for extended periods of time with arms above your head when performing services underneath the vehicle on a catwalk. + Constantly positions self to perform required services under the hood, related to tires, or on catwalk working underneath the vehicle. + Able to move/transport items up to approximately 50 pounds. + Able to work with tools to perform duties in tight sometimes hard to reach areas. + Communicate verbally and receive verbal communication to ensure services are performed accurately, safely and in the proper order. Environment + In this position you will be subject to environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside and in varying temperature conditions. + In this position you will be subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level. + In this position you will be subject to hazards. Includes a variety of conditions including but not limited to proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat, and exposure to chemicals. + In this position you will be subject to atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that may affect the respiratory system or skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, restricted ventilation. + In this position you will be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways such as catwalks.
