MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT Field Engineer provides technical expertise to modernize network design and implementation supporting multiple Air Force and Space Force bases globally. The Field Engineer will be the technical resources supporting the survey and implementation efforts. Works closely with the base's counterparts and facilitate the planning, execution, testing and sustainment of the wired functionality of the network. This position will perform the following duties: + Execution - Coordinate with Government Points of Contact (POCs) to coordinate design, installation, base access, clearance, escorts, personnel and equipment to ensure project tasks can be completed on time. + Stakeholder Communications u2013 assist the PM with ensuring clear, consistent, timely and accurate communications are maintained with internal and external project stakeholders + Technical support u2013 provide input into the distribution systems design (ISP/OSP) and technical recommendations to the program and operation teams. + Leadership u2013 Lead small implementation teams or manage specific work scopes for a given AF/SF base. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED + Education : Bacheloru2019s Degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to this position. The likely salary range for this position is $59,500 - $80,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
